i think i went into my email to check for information for the quiz, and didn't realize i was violating the silence

Player: i only talked to him a couple times
and my very first impression of him was that i knew he wasn't the mole
so that didn't help him

when he seemed 2 do so well in the first challenge
but then he screwed up totally on the next 3, lol
trying 2 work with him on that dino challenge... o boy.

Brian: he shot down ALL of my ideas
4 example i had the idea of using a really distinct font

Brian: and i was naming all these fonts that we cud use
and he was like
"but i dont have bauhaus! i dont have showtime"
i mean, who doesnt have bauhaus? my schools comps are 8 yrs old and all of them have it!

Jill: Pssh, that's just a matter of doing the camera shot, and you have to wait till we all runners complete a run for you to post one, so
So I don't think you need to be worried, lol

I think I have to do something first
Jill: You have to post your camera shot, but you can't do that till the runners have posted "RUN" because that's when we move on to the next camera

Jill: lol, that's fine, there's no rush because RIGHT NOW isn't the time for you to do something, because we runners need to all post "RUN" so that the next camera can be hacked

i always wait until the last minute, and almost don't do anything at all
Jill: I know! Honestly, these long-term ones are such commitments :(

if you notice, I haven't PICKED any of my groups yet
I've just done nothign until everyone else picked, so I was stuck in whatever was left
Jill: Well, I mean, there's always going to be one person who's picked by default, just because once that last spot is left, that person obviously has to get that spot
you obviously have thing is going on in real life that are important, and it's actually impressive that you still manage to make time for the game, Kyle - you've been awesome :()
Player: yeah, but that's been me every time, because i wait until the last minute before i even look at the challenge to pick one

Player: work's just been sucking lately, so when I get home, my mind just needs to rest
Jill: Of course! You get home from working and the last thing you want is something ELSE that is challenging.

That happens to everyone. It isn't that you're lazy.

Jill: You're still committed enough to the game that when it comes to the quiz you were diligent enough to make yourself a table with the players to ensure you'd do as well as you could on them.
I think that's awesome, Kyle, that you actually took the time and put work into that, lol.

have you picked up on anything anyone has done lately that might be suspicious?
Jill: I've definitely picked up on quite a bit. How strange is what Ginger herself posted on her blog about Mitch not doing his "RUN" when he needed to? How about the fact that Beth is still here, despite her lack of communication with people?
Player: yeah
i may remember this wrong,
but during the live challange, when we were running out of time, didn't brian almost seem to be getting away from the subject of taking a guess, and wasting more time?
Jill: Or even more interestingly... the fact that Blaise's blog title "Bla1se is th3 mol3"... if you add the three numbers 1 + 3 + 3, it equals 7.... which is his player number.... and it is also the number of letters in "The Mole"

Jill: Definitely that, too. Brian seemed to be trying quite hard to get away from that.

and Paul giving us blogs to post in that one challenge
how do we know he didn't make some of those blogs with the intent of adding another post later
Jill: It might prove difficult to figure out which of these other 8 people is The Mole, but we definitely have some good ideas here.

Jill: The only disappointing thing about you not being around much is that you and I did agree at the beginning to work together, and we haven't done much in that regard. :(

well, i've been playing it kind of safe
making sure i get everyone evenly
Jill: Yep, as you pointed out in your blog post!
Player: in the last quiz, i knew I had gotten everyone on the quiz at lest 2 or 3 times, except Mitch and Brandon
so when I answered Who is the Mole? I picked one of them
of course, I picked Brandon, and he got the boot
lol
Jill: So if you got everyone 2 or 3 times, that really was 0 or 1 time, since you had a -2, right?
Player: well, there are also some questions that I didn't KNOW who they pointed to
like Did the mole post on the Identity thread?
I just assumed the more likely answer was Yes
even though I had no idea who did and who didn't
Jill: You didn't just go and look at the thread?
Player: so I didn't mark anyone down for that question

Player: and with the question of how many MoleBucks does the mole have, I pick 0, because so many of us have none, it's the more likely answer
Jill: That's actually split pretty evenly.
Player: but then again, something must be said about Ginger having so much more than us
Jill: Oh my God, I know. I totally see that as being very interesting.
Player: either she knows helpful things we don't, or AS THE MOLE, she's just a lot more active and invested in the game
Jill: .Yep, and there's no question that the second option is looking very interesting right about now
Player: yeah
with her being so much more active than us, why would the host pick a lesser active person as the mole?
Jill: Definitely not! I'd think The Mole would certainly be around quite a bit.
And you've definitely seen just how much time she dedicates to the game, lol.

i'm also thinking about the age thing:
As an adult, with a full time job, I don't have as much extra time for the game
for for say, a teenager, without as many responsibilities, who can spend all day online. . .

and with our aliases, we don't know how old she really is
Jill: Pssh, of course we don't! She totally might be a teenager with a lot of time on her hands.
Which I'm sure is exactly what Travis wants.

we should try and talk with everyone about who they think the mole is
then compare notes,
and after the execution, make a note of who the executed player thought the mole was
Jill: Definitely! That would probably be one of the MOST helpful things if we did that.
Player: that way, intead of seeing who did the most to sabotage, we can knock people out
and use the process of elimination
Jill: Yep. I think that sounds like the perfect strategy for us.
Player: I'm also thinking of playing the game agressively
and trying to get other players executed
Jill: As mean as that sounds, I really think we just might have to resort to that :(
I mean, you know, it's so important for me to stay alive in this game, that I'd definitely be willing to do anything, you know?
Player: yeah
I'm thiking, we pick a fake mole, and tell everyone we think that person is the mole,
and come up with things to point out as evidence

in the off-chance we accidently help everyone out, and give them the real mole
we could tell half the players 1 person is the mole, and tell the other half someone else is the mole
and hoping they believe us, whichever side the executed player is on, will tell us who ISN'T the mole
Jill: Well, how about I go to people and present you as a Mole suspect? That way it is guaranteed that they'll be wrong.

Jill: Well, from the beginning of the game, I was definitely hoping it'd be you, since you suggested working together. After that, no one else really offered anything, which is interesting, I guess....

actually, i was hoping if you were close with one half of the players, you could tell them one person is the mole, and I could tell the OTHER half someone else is the mole
then we can see who's half loses someone
and from there guess who isn't the mole

it will help us eliminate suspects based on who gets kicked out

Player: well, i think we try to find people that have histories: something we can present as evidence of sabotaging to tell everyone to get them to believe us

Player: and we can't choose 2 moles, so if we tell one side the real mole on accident,

and we'll know THAT person isn't the mole

well, ok, I've never won a Survivor game yet,
but I'm excellent at coming up with strategies
Jill: Yeah, you probably don't let emotions cloud your judgment and you vote someone out based on it being the most strategically advantageous thing.
Player: exactly
my thinking in Survivor, is that although other people don't want to look like a strategic player, and be voted out as a threat,
I, on the other hand, WANT my tribe to KNOW I'm a threat. . . to the other tribe
I want my alliance to believe that keeping me in the game will get THEM to the end
Jill: Yep, which is SUPER smart, obviously.
Player: I keep one player on my side, who will vote however I think is smartest, and we will get to the final 2 together,
and when the numbers are just right, we both switch sides
of course the other side will go along with whatever will keep them from being voted out, since they were on the chopping block
but we have to time it right so the two sides can't gang up on me
Jill: That's perfectly planned, Kyle. Jeez, I'd be every bit as lost in a Survivor game as I am in this game, lol.

i will admit that this is my first strategic game of The Mole
this is the first time I've played the players, instead of just playing for myself to beat the quizzes
Jill: It may be your first one, but wow, you're still doing amazingly. Way better than me, at least.
